Vikram Jandhyala, PhD, is CEO & Founder at Physware, Inc. and is on leave as Associate Professor of electrical engineering and director of the Applied Computational Engineering Lab at the University of Washington. His prior industry experience includes being an R&D engineer for Ansoft Corp. and a lead consultant for several companies and organizations, including Cadence Design Systems, Calypso Medical, CFDRC, and NASA. Dr. Jandhyala has published approximately 200 journal and conference papers. He was a recipient of the NSF CAREER award for outstanding young faculty in 2001. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign and his BTech from IIT Delhi.

Bala Vishwanath is President & COO at Physware, Inc. Mr. Vishwanath came to Physware after over 14 years of experience in high-technology EDA companies ranging from start-ups such as Epic Design Technology to public corporations such as Synopsys. He was a co-founder as well as President of Smarte Solutions, a company in the software licensing space with enterprise customers that included Intel, Microsoft and Sony. At Synopsys, he managed the worldwide technical sales team supporting Intel. He has an MS EE from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, BS EE from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and engineering certificate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.

Feng Ling, PhD, is Vice President of Engineering at Physware, Inc. Prior to joining Physware, he was a lead developer at Cadence Design Systems. From 2002 to 2004, he was electromagnetic simulation team leader for Neolinear, Inc., which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems. He was also senior R&D engineer at Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector, now Freescale Semiconductor. Dr. Ling received his PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2000. He has published approximately 60 journals and refereed conference papers. Dr. Ling has been performing research in and developing solutions for the electronic design automation space for the last 11 years.

Teo Yatman is Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Physware, Inc. Prior to joining Physware, Yatman, an EDA veteran of over 25 years, held management and sales positions with Sigrity, Sonics, Duet, Quickturn, Cascade, Mentor Graphics, SDA (now Cadence) and GE (Calma). While at Mentor, Yatman received the National Account Manager of the Year award in Jan 1988 for booking the largest EDA order to date. Yatman has extensive sales experience both domestically as well as in international sales serving as VP of Business Development and International Sales at Sigrity for six years, and Director of Asia Pacific Sales and Operations for three years, including Managing Director of Duet K.K. in Japan. Yatman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Dipanjan Gope, PhD, is Director of R&D at Physware Inc. Prior to joining Physware, he was a Senior CAD engineer in the Circuit Simulation Group at Intel Corporation where he developed a state-of-the-art fast DC circuit simulator. He was also a key member of the team responsible for the support and maintenance of the proprietary non-linear circuit simulation engine and its extension to multithreaded environment. As a technical intern at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, he co-developed the fast surface-based PEEC methodology. He has approximately 35 journal and conference publications. Dr. Gope received his PhD and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle and Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.

Swagato Chakraborty, PhD, is Director of R&D at Physware Inc. Prior to joining Physware, he was a core developer at Applied Wave Research, Inc. Dr. Chakraborty's expertise lies in computational electromagnetics, multiphysics applications and software architecture. He has over 25 peer-reviewed journal, conference papers and two patents. Dr. Chakraborty received his MS & PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle and Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.

Paul McManus is Director of Sales at Physware Inc. Prior to joining Physware, Paul held various positions including sales executive, District Manager, and Regional Manager over the course of the last 15 years with EDA companies including Sigrity Inc., Nassda Inc., and Synopsys where Mr. McManus presided over a sales geography that encompassed a large portion of the US. Mr. McManus has over 25 years of sales and sales management experience in electronic design automation (EDA), specialized vector processing computers, and massively parallel computers. His educational background consists of a BS in Math, and Physics from the University of Oklahoma.
